We all need someone to talk to sometimes, someone who will really listen and hear us without judgement.  Most of the time we know ourselves best, but we can get stuck in patterns that aren’t beneficial for us anymore or that never were.  It’s helpful to have a neutral ear to hear what we say and then help us to come up with more positive and healthy strategies to improve our lives.  I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the therapy process, and I am very humbled and honored when people let me into their lives to hopefully help them to become happier versions of themselves.

I have been practicing as a clinician for over 15 years and have experience working with adults of all ages.  Along the way, I have met so many people that I would have never had the chance to meet otherwise.  I have experience helping others in many different areas, including but not limited to mood instability, anxiety, stress management, relationship challenges, and self-esteem. I am passionate about taking the time to get to know individuals that I meet with so that I can help them to apply their many strengths to the current challenges that they are experiencing.  My approach is focused in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy blended with Person-Centered Therapy.  I want everyone that meets with me to feel like they are in a safe space to fully explore or discuss anything that is creating a barrier in their life.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time doing a variety of activities with my family, friends, and dog Quinn. Self-care is something that I not only encourage others to do but that I practice myself.  Spending time doing things that we love is so important for our mental and physical well-being.
